Katie tells Kathy to tell Kylie what's up...

It's a phenomenon that's tried and true.

Women talk.

And that's how a little studio in Montour, Iowa draws a senior from over an hour away from a school that we've never had a client from in 17 years.

Last summer we had our first ever Cedar Rapids Kennedy senior come our way, and that senior and her mother told their hair stylist that she should bring HER daughter to us as well.

So, long story short, when Kennedy's Katie chirped to hair guru Kathy, Linn-Mar's Kylie was on her way...

Sort of.

Kylie was late to the game as our first contact was in December, which led to an indoor only session in January that got her yearbook requirement taken care of. Not gonna lie... we did more than just yearbook stuff that day. However... we saved the real fun for later.

Later was scheduled and rescheduled, and rescheduled again... until we FINALLY had our day in the sun.... literally... on Wednesday... and we didn't let the moment pass without taking full advantage.

Having a stylist for a mother, I would expect NOTHING less than a girl with flair... and that's exactly what we got. A little black dress and four-inch heels wasn't gonna fly in little rural rustic Montour.... so it was on the road to get more of an urban look.

We did have a little plaid to mix it up in our one horse town, but for the most part it was fab, fun and some fantastic dance images to top everything off.

Bottom line... we appreciate ALL of our senior clients... but I must admit, I can't help but give a BIG thank you to our seniors that go the extra mile to get what they want. It's not easy or convenient to make the longer drive (especially when gas is $3.67/gallon!!), but there's one guy over here that's certainly glad that you did.

Enjoy the images ladies... you were a blast. :)
