Thursday afternoon's session backed that up.... and they also say "it ain't braggin' if you can back it up," and while I'll let you be the judge.... I think Lauren, indeed, did just that.
Occasionally I get all giggley (is that a word?) about an image..... and I giggled to myself upon getting the tennis serve shot you see below....... add in the intense background image...... and BAM!..... Me likey.
I also was glad to relive some of the old college days with Lauren's mom, Carolyn. Mom and I were just a few years apart at Pella's Central College (ok... I admit it... she's 8 years older....LOL). I'm convinced that our dialogue probably cemented Lauren's decision to go ANYWHERE other than Central when the time comes! :-) I've said recently that my clients stay the same age every year.... (17, 18 years old)... but I continually get closer and closer to mom in age as the years go by. When I was shooting seniors at age 21... moms and dads seemed like they were from another planet..... but as the years go by... perhaps the opposite is now true! :) In all seriousness...... both Carolyn and Lauren were awesome to work with.... it's always nice having like-minded folks to hang around with for a few hours!
Lauren has a keen interest in photography.... hopefully I lived up to her expectations!
