Not that it REALLY matters or is of the utmost importance to do so... but I can tell you this, when the SENIOR is having the time of their life, it's infectious. How can I NOT be having a fun time right along with them? I suppose it's a little like the whole chicken or the egg deal, but regardless... I hope it's always a situation that the client and I can feed off of each other.
One such situation was with recent GMG senior, Amanda Jorpeland.
The best dang Tastee Freeze employee you ever will find, I found out quickly why her peers at GMG voted her to be on homecoming court because the girl was SO fun... SO hilarious... and on top of all that... she had such a variety of style in her look and clothing... I was like a kid in a candy store.
Per usual, we held back nothing to get the images to match the outfits and Amanda spent plenty of time in the H3 getting to the spots that we needed to get to... but it was all worth it as she and her totally-into-it mom, Joan, and I were razzin' her incessantly from start to finish. :)
My favorite image of the day leads off the blog as you see Amanda in her straw hat (that incidentally, I fixed... just ask her). One bad thing about falling way behind at work due to sheer demand and volume is that occasionally I may forget an intricate detail like HOW exactly I got Miss Amanda to laugh out loud with the aforementioned cowgirl hat... but regardless... laugh she did... and sometimes a blind squirrel gets a nut and this was just another one of those cases.
I won't make Amanda wait any longer... she along with seemingly a plethora of other patient seniors have waited long enough... so without further adieu, here are your images, Miss Jorpeland. Your book is on the shelf and ready to be picked up. Hopefully see you tomorrow. Open from 1 to 6 p.m. if you're scoring at home.
