A.D. on Labor Day

I know... I know... it's Labor Day. Why, then, is there a blog update on this day when I should be relaxing?

Work doesn't wait at Stewart Photography and when the former owner of the business (that gave me my big break when I was 22) asks you for a favor..... you do it.

That favor? Photograph his grandson. So, as a last favor before becoming the "official" owner of the business and property at 112 East Elm Street in Montour, Anthony came our way this weekend.

I was COMPLETELY envious of this guy's mop of hair....... some guys get all the luck. :-) More importantly... Anthony was about as nice and polite as they come... which is vitally important when keeping this guy from seeing the opening kickoff to the Hawkeyes football season. (One wonders how a dude from Williamsburg ends up a Cyclone fan... but I digress).

Take note ladies.... this guy knows style as well. It's my understanding that he did his own shopping for the outfits... and I dare say that he's got the COOLEST jeans we've seen all summer. The long sleeves were dead on in my book as well. Great job, A.D.

Going back to Anthony's sis Sonya (williamsburg class of 05), and followed fellow Raiders, Kaytee (06), Kelly (07), Ashley (08) and Allison (09)... we had kept a One-Raider-Quota for each of the past 5 senior seasons. Anthony breaks that tradition... and with all due respect to all the aforementioned Williamsburg seniors, we're glad that we've broke that streak on the positive side. Reality is... those ornery ladies were trying to keep us on the down-low.

Enjoy your Labor Day, everyone!
