Wednesday morning brought us a senior all the way from West Branch.
While I'd love to claim that we just carry that much clout, reality says that one never knows when or how we'll make an impression on potential clients.
In this case, Cole's father, Scott... just happened to being having dinner at a steakhouse that you may have heard of next door a couple years ago. Before going in... Scott glanced in our window and evidently a sports image we had up made such an impression... he never forgot it... and wanted the same for his son.
So, Cole and his mother and father made the 1 1/2 hr trek to me and I think we got some really cool stuff.... especially the football images. Nothing is more fulfilling to me than to collaborate with athletes to get that image that depicts their desire, dedication and intensity for the sport they love. I think we did that here.
In addition, any senior that goes through the process with me undoubtedly remembers using our "grey cards" and we have fun tossing them back and forth like a frisbee to each other. I only mention this this time because Cole here became the first senior guy in Stewart Photography history to complete his session by connecting with me on all of his grey card tosses to me. I know he's a running back, but perhaps Coach Peterson should work in some halfback passes or put Mr. Kelly in at Quarterback for some plays? Just sayin.
