The early Wolverine gets the worm...

We're only about a week and a half into our 2013 senior campaign and just like a year ago... GMG is bringing it hard with the earlybird representation.

Already our second installment from up Garwin-way... Lexie Dubberke owned Tuesday with her own style and flair.

It was just a week ago that she and her folks decided to take full advantage of our $100 earlybird special bonus... Lex and Mama Kari came down to take care of their deposit a week ago... and ironically... we were photographing her classmate, Cheyenne at the time.

I paused for a few moments to answer Lexie's questions... and then told her we'd see her in a week.

That week came and went in a blink of an eye and evidently the short turnaround was no deterrent for Lex as she knocked it out of the park.

I'm told that she rarely wears her hair down (usually opting for the side pony or braid... which we DID see, too) but that's where we started on Tuesday.   Lexie slipped on the short shorts... the boots... and did up the big hair... and I'll be danged if the session wasn't instantly Snookified.   Am I wrong?

The Jersey Shore influence wasn't over with, however, as we did have some fuzzy boots on her last regular outfit, as well...   Sandwich those around the cutest little spring dress... and my job was easy pickins.

Originally Lexie had made a couple requests that I didn't think we could pull off well considering the sunny conditions... but I wasn't about to let her down... so we gave our best shot at shooting in full sun on the tracks and in an open field... Not too shabby, huh, Lex?

She did also wanna get in the water... which I kinda thought would be pretty shallow after the drought-like conditions we've had around here... but to my surprise... she got in and it nearly went up to her knees!   Cool reflection in the water on that day... check it.

Finally, we had to do our sports thing for Lexie.   There was some talk of visiting GMG's new gym... but near the end of the session, she pulled the plug on the idea opting to just let me spin some digital magic for her collage instead.  In the midst of doing our sports series... I told her she looked "totally B.A." and stumbled into my favorite image from her session... which is the first one shown here... A reminder to us all that rather than taking ourselves so seriously, sometimes it's best to just laugh a little.

Thanks for the fun session, Lex!
