Same ol' song and dance, my friend...

Sometimes, more of the same is a wonderful thing.

Not much more can be said that I haven't already about Brad and Carolyn Benda's family over the years.  Our history tracks back to August 14, 2008 when I photographed the lovely and talented Lauren Benda.   That began a streak of, if my count is accurate, FIVE sessions that Miss Lauren has made an appearance at.  Her own.. a couple friends and now a couple of family members.  Lauren's presence at Stewart Photography is always welcomed, and a blessing to be sure.

Speaking of family members... Benda appearance No. 2 came in the form of brother Joshua two years later on August 17, 2011.   Another talented young product, Josh wowed us with his authoring skills and busted out a guitar as well... keeping music and the Lord close to his heart.

Fast forward to THIS August... and not surprisingly, Carolyn and Brad brought me another bright light to shine in front of my camera one more time.

Music again was a common thread as Rachel had an acoustic six string and her sax in tow.   If you saw us along highway 30 playin in the ditch full of wild flowers that day, that would be why.  We had to get her her "album cover."  :)

We also highlighted Rachel's passion for dance by tootling all over town in her point shoes.  If you saw a ballerina trespassing into your old doorway, again... that would be us.

Maybe the most unique thing that I noticed about Miss Rachel's session was her hair.  Or, more accurately, how it transformed as the session progressed.   It went from down and a mile long.. to UP and wrapped tightly into a roaring 1920's style do.  (she called that her trademark) :)

Just when I thought I had her figured out... down went the hair again... and out comes the BRIGHT red lipstick and red heels.  Wowza.   But, she wasn't done yet.. back up it went for the dance outfit finale'.   Four distinct looks made my job lots of fun and easy to make unique.

If memory serves... this is the last Benda senior installment that I'm going to get... which kinda saddens me.  I guess I'm going to have to start some sort of "alumni sessions" so Team Benda can kept on bringin' in their same old song and dance for me.  It just doesn't get any better.

Thanks guys... it was great to catch up with my old friends again.
