Daddy's Baby

Marissa visited on Tuesday afternoon and was the first of what looks like is gonna be a SLEW of GMG seniors this year. We had photographed her big sis', Terrissa (GMG '06) a few years back and when Mama Betty called to set this up, she said things were different this time around.

Daddy was no longer with us.

The ladies wanted to know if there was any way we could take an image and pay tribute to Marissa's Dad. And while I was provided lots of candids and a couple nicknames that he used to call his little girl, I just hope I did it justice.

In addition, Papa's truck that he used to drive around in played a big role in the session as well...

Overall, Marissa supposedly "doesn't like pictures"... And while I caught her yawning several times during the session, I think she actually may have actually had a good time... and if she doesn't like cameras, the Nikon D3 liked her.
