I call it the "here's my four outfits... now make me look cool" type session.
Not that Libby demanded it... because she was the opposite, actually.... really more unassuming than anything. However that's assumed on MY end. Who doesn't wanna look good?
I had met Libby's mom a few years ago when sister Cassie (MHS, '07) was in. The girls really have very similar personalities... kinda quiet, shy... and it's in stark contrast to their mother, Pam, who I've found to be lots of fun at both sessions. Pam, admitted that she operates "without a filter," and on several occasions Libz turned as red as her shoes that she wore with her black dress on Friday. ;-) It was all in good fun, however, and there's nothing cuter than a fun relationship between mother and daughter... even if it is excruciatingly painful at times for a teenager.
So, Libby was a sweetie, and a good sport for the razzing she took from her mother and I... BUT! I do have a bone to pick with her. Older sis, Cass, did the right thing by attending Central College in Pella (Yours Truly... Class of 1994) However, as much as I enjoyed Libby's personality, she got a BIG strike against her when she said she's not following in sister's footsteps. VERY disappointing, Libz. haha! I suppose I'll let it slide.
