Melissa's Music

Melissa's passion for music was made clear from the moment of the first phone call that her mother made to our studio. An accomplished pianist, guitar player and singer... the situation was described like this.... "music is her life."

From one artist to another, the challenge was on to bring that passion to life for this young lady. It's special when someone trusts you to depict that for you, and all I can say is thank you for the opportunity to shine that light on your behalf. Some people just talk about passion... others actually back up their words by their actions and deeds. Melissa left no doubt about where her focus lies... and what's truly important.

While we certainly had our focus on all things musical during the session... we did take time out to have some playful moments.... I love the "many faces of Melissa" pose below... and it was also great to see that she brought along good friend Lauren (an 2009 'alum' of Stewart Photography). She wasn't planning on it... but Lauren did jump in one image... literally.... on Melissa's back... piggy back style. So fun. Check it out!
