aRe U rEaDy 2 RoCk

Monday was our first ROCKSTAR session of the senior campaign 2010. Six hours plus... unlimited outfits... 2 proofbooks instead of one... and a billion awesome images!! Ok... maybe not QUITE a billion, but close! ;-)

Jessie and her mother Angie were up for the marathon session and I can confidently say that I was very pleased with the results that we came up with. Even better, in this case is the fact that I know that from prior experience (brother Derek, '08) that this family loves our creations... so it makes nearly 24 hours of shooting and artwork all worth it in the end.

We were all over the county in the first part of the day. The best was a trip to their home as we got some truly unique stuff there. Check out the checkerboard tiling in the bw image below.... that's a wow. How cozy does Jessie look on her couch in the living room? Lovin the window light as well. It was a direct mandate from the girls to keep everything simple and solid (and they did the same with the clothing for the most part.... the result was some killer images that will stand the test of time, I think.

Jess clearly took the time like most gals do, to fuss with hair and makeup, etc... but I was particularly proud of her ability to rough it when she got in up to her knees in the muddy and slimey Iowa River for the shot in her skirt. Good job outta you, young lady!
