Runnin' down a dream

Tuesday brought us our third consecutive East Marshall senior as Carsen brought us his track/cross country gear so we could make him another of our trademark bangin' sports collages. I can't believe we hadn't thought of it before, but Carsen and Momma Laura had, as we worked in all of Carsen's spikes and running shoes as part of our creation.

We've often struggled with depicting track in comparison to other sports due to the fact that we're not dealing with a ball, bat, glove, helmet, etc. So... what better way to go the track route than to bust out all the shoes? Check it out... I kinda like the effect... tops and bottoms. :-)

Carsen's mom and I go way back as Laura is a member of the last graduating class of SEMCO (South East Marshall County) of Gilman in 1989 (that dates you Laura). The class is just one week from their 20 year reunion, of which I hope many get back to reunite. Although I graduated a year later... I was only maybe a month away from being in that class, and in many ways... always felt like a pseudo member with many friends and an older brother in the class. So... it was nice to catch up with an old friend... props to Carsen for putting up with all of our yammering!
