I had the chance to meet an interesting case Tuesday afternoon as Nick joined us all the way from Gilbert High School. This guy had tracked us down via our website and insisted on getting a piece of our sports images that we're known for.
So... we had the sports thing goin' which is always right up my alley. What I found most interesting is that although Nick has an Ames, Iowa address, and his folks are employed by Iowa State University, he's NOT a Cyclone.
Far from it, actually.
Nick spent the first half of his life in the great state of Wisconsin and naturally, then is a Badgers, Packers and Brewers fan. Nick brought me a little taste of Madison with him for some BUCKY inspired images. In addition, Nick may not soon forget his session as he and I were discussing the "rumor" that the Brett Favre-saga may not be over, when we heard it come down the wire that Favre actually DID sign with the hated Vikings. I had to be the one to break the news to the Packer-lover. I probably should have made him sit down before I told him about the tragedy. ;-)
So, we had the ode to Bucky images done... but Nick had come for more as he's the only returning starter on Coach Randy Sniezek's (former Central College co-hort of yours truly)Gilbert Tiger hoops squad. So... we got Nick our trademark wicked sports collage.
Finally, Nick is a budding artist and we busted out some, well, artsy images.
Thanks for making the drive, Schalinske!
