Finally Fe

Followers of our blog have been fully aware of our run of seniors from BCLUW over the past month that 6 of which just so happened to have added "State Champion" to their list of accomplishments. Six girls, all members of the top softball team in Class 2A.

It's been a whirlwind, to be sure... Kendra, Haddie, Jamie, Nicole, Krista....

And then there was just one who remained.

Fe.

Her friends have a bunch of nicknames for the Felicia that her parents gave her... but I think I like "Fe" the best. So... Fe was the end of our amazing Comet-run on Friday morning, and while she's no doubt proud of that trophy they picked up 3 weeks ago... I think I've found the girl's true passion.

Water. :-)

Shortly after returning from Fort Dodge, Fe, and many other of her friends were off for some much deserved R-n-R at Lake Okoboji. Two weeks of sun, skiing, and just flat out chillin' was on deck for our blond beauty here. Just EXACTLY the type of preparation one needs to come back and do SENIOR PICTURES! ;-)

Tan and rested, Felicia produced some amazing images (despite having her alarm clock fail on Friday morning!). I must admit that she inspired me with a few self-portraits that I had seen of her on her Facebook profile..... moody, lake-side images with her back to the camera that any pro would have been proud to call their own. With that in mind... I took my stab at creating Fe's trademark look, only this time, with a train blowing behind her. I like the result... hopefully worthy of being in the same league as her own creations!
