Kelsey was our third senior this season to step up to the mic and become a ROCKSTAR as she and her family committed to the largest session we offer..... unlimited outfits being the key here.
What does unlimited mean? Sixteen outfits, as well as a boatload of jewelry, accessories, dance costumes, Hawkeye gear, jackets, a stack of newspapers.... I am sure I'm forgetting something.... oh yeah... two outfits that we DIDN'T get to! ;-)
This was a marathon session, to be sure... but worth every minute because Kelsey and her mother Val were so fun. I know that both were looking so forward to this experience, and I think they got their wishes granted. And judging from the tornado-esque look to our front room with clothing and accessories EVERYWHERE... there can be no doubt, these gals wanted it all, and got it.
I've gotten to know Kels over the past few years as official photographer for the dance studio she's a member of (www.dancekonnection.com). The girl has serious skills and has been a pleasure to watch at their yearly spring show. That being said... I found out Monday, that despite all the excess that is our Rockstar session, Kels is a sweetheart, very humble, and as good of a dancer that she is... she's an even better person.
