I'm sure I would get arguments from sisters Nicki ('07) and Tara ('09), but not from the baby of the Landt family as Jodie finally took her turn at the senior portrait thing Friday afternoon.
Friday marked the FOURTH trip that Jodie has made to our studio in the past four years (family session last summer) and with every passing session, I felt the pressure ratcheting up in trying to ensure that each and every family member felt like they were getting their own unique look. It would have been real easy for 'lil Jode' here to fall prey to wanting to find out if the grass was greener somewhere else. I'm thankful she didn't, and after a day and a half of artwork (on top of a 5 hour session), it's my hope that Jodie feels like she got a unique look of her own.
Jodie helped matters by bringing in her BRIGHT yellow chevy, some of her own sketchwork (see the embellishments on the first blog image) and her sports stuff (she's one tough Wolverine catcher).
In addition, it was great to see Mama Deb and Tara again as hair and clothing czars. They had some slack to pick up as Nicki (who normally runs the show) was attending to some business that she couldn't get away from. The results tell me that, somehow... someway... we managed without our fearless redheaded leader. We still missed ya, Nick....
