If I've said it once... I've said it a thousand times... I love clouds... just don't want the rain...
Thursday... we had both.
It was looking like we were gonna have to reschedule Liz's outdoor portion of her session.... it wasn't a HEAVY rain... but it was enough. Kind of a light annoying mist, really. It looked like it was letting up... so we decided to go to town... literally.
Liz has had nearly all of her close friends come in to the studio for their senior sessions, so I made an executive decision to get out of the box and do an urban session in Marshalltown. Liz's eyes lit up when I suggested this idea... so I knew we had to do it. "I don't care if it's raining... let's do it," Liz said.
Fueled by some of the best cookies ever (provided by Liz's escort for the day... Chelsey) we captured some edgy stuff uptown. It's been said that some gals could "stop traffic".... Liz really DID, literally! ;-)
After getting all the uptown stuff done... we headed back to Montour with a satisfying feeling of a job well done when Liz asked if she could have an image taken with her best friend, Chels...
Those of you that have followed our blog closely know that NO ONE follows our ramblings closer than Chelsey Jo Parks. Chels is not only our biggest fan.. but she was a senior client earlier this last summer... I have her to thank for twisting Liz's arm into coming to me. Providing the cookies... chauffeuring us to Marshalltown in the H3... holding the umbrella to keep Liz from getting wet... not too mention providing a closet full of clothes for Elizabeth to raid for clothing and high heels... I'd say that Thursday's senior owes Chels big time.... I do, too.... and it was the least I could do to provide an image of the girls together... it's the last one on the blog here.... check it... thanks gals... not even the weather could keep us down.
