We get the question a lot...
"What happens if it rains?"
Our senior here.... found out. A couple times...
Back on Tuesday, August 17, we gave it our first shot at it.... It rained all afternoon... we stalled... and stalled and stalled... kept shooting indoor... and eventually... pulled the plug.
So... we had HALF of the session in for Mr. Matt. But the FUN part was figuring out when exactly to bring him back for the outdoor.
Getting rained out in the midst of our busiest month of the year, annually, means you might just wait a couple weeks to get back in. And in this case, that's exactly what happened. Surprisingly... getting rained out never happens more than just a couple times each senior season... (sorry, Jamie Hlas... you were the OTHER one this year!)... but in the end... no one ever has to simply settle for indoor only.
So, August 17th turned into August 31 and Matt and his mom were set to come back AGAIN.
Only problem was? It was raining again.
About one hour prior to the rescheduled go-around... the phone rings again... and it's Matt's mom.
"I think we'd like a sunnier day..."
So... we were staring another two-week delay right in the face. September 16 was agreed upon.
However....
The proverbial "not-so-fast-my-friend" reared it's head when at about 1 p.m., the skies cleared... and the phone rang again.... and it was Janice Upah...
"Can we go ahead and give this a shot?"
On a dime, then, I told 'em to come on in... and an hour later... Matt, the future aerospace engineer, was moving through space around Montour and we had 'em done.
Long story short... patience paid off again on Tuesday. I learned what potential aerospace engineers study. Matt learned that as an employee of Rube's next door... it's not a good thing to park in the H3... and both of us completed our goal, (finally) of getting him some killer images.
