The week that began with a Warhawk... ended up back right where I started as we had North Mahaska bookends when Hannah walked in the door that Friday.
Another Morgan Fleener referral, I was treated to the mother of Miss Referral as Denise Fleener was hired as "mom-for-the-day" as Hannah's mom couldn't get away for the session on this day.
While Denise was of great help again, truth is, a well-trained monkey could make this gal look good as Miss Ferguson made my job easy.
As I'm want to do, I put Hannah in MY favorite outfit first. A little black dress and some TOTALLY awesome boots, Taylor Swift had nuthin on this girl. I way overshot that first outfit, and that may have something to do with my unhealthy pseudo relationship I have with TSwizzle. :)
In an effort to keep her images totally different than her good friend Hayley, who had been in just a couple of days prior, I took Hannah to a different town for her urban stuff, and then to my folks for the look that I felt was REALLY her comfort zone...
Bottom line... more country than city for this one. :)
Hannah had seen an image in the studio of a gal leaning on the old gate that I used to pass through everyday as a kid on my way out to the barn to feed our old Irish Setter, Casey. While that rusty old gate is not longer in the spot it was 30 years ago, it still makes what heck of a prop... so off to Gilman we went.
Hannah and Denise got to meet my folks before we were done taking advantage of every nook and cranny of their property. If I haven't told you enough before, thanks Mom and Dad... I appreciated it, and I'm sure that the Fergusons and Fleeners do too.
After finishing with our urban and rural aspects... it was back to the studio to finish up with some of our trademark sports stuff.
Like Hayley before her, Hannah wanted to highlight the trip to state this past season in hoops. A key starter on the Warhawks 23-3 season a year ago, Hannah is chomping at the bit to get back to Wells Fargo this season after taking care of the South Iowa Cedar League again.
I think she now has Stewart Photography karma on her side... Get your hotels booked now, Warhawk fans. :)
Thanks for an amazing afternoon ladies!
