I told the facebook world earlier this week that I would forgo the Iowa football season opener because I needed to get more work done... because I was just that far behind.
Fittingly... the first item of business was to work on an engagement session...
Of two Hawkeye fans.
Fittingly, both Samantha and Joe encouraged me not to miss the game on their behalf... but both of them know me well enough by now to know that they were arguing in vain.
So, while I chose to work instead of play... at LEAST I got to work on SOMEthing Hawkeye related. :)
Add in the fact that I missed out on standing in a torrential rain in Kinnick Stadium... I'd say, all-in-all... the decision wasn't a bad one in the end.
The Hawks won big... Sam and Joe's engagement session is finally complete and another job is scratched off the massive list of things to do.
We'll see ya sometime this week to pick up your previews, guys... and I need to surround myself as much as possible with like-minded believers... it's Cy-Hawk week.
