The Full Monty...

I had been waiting since March for this one.

Mama Angie had called way early to inquire for her daughter's session, and even though she was ahead of the game, the session was gonna have to wait.

As in late September-ish...

Braces needed to come off, and avoiding the heat was a definite priority. So, a fall session was in order... and, like I've mentioned before, Danielle essentially became the bookend on a week chocked full of BCLUW senior girls.

Perhaps there could be more to come, but at this point, it looks like Miss Montgomery (her friends call her 'Monty,' fittingly enough) may be the last Comet lady to visit us this senior season. And while I would get plenty of argument about proclaiming that we saved the BEST for last... I do know this... We saved the TALLEST for last!

Hard to miss at 6-foot-1, Danielle catches everything at first base... is the go-to-gal in the post on the hardwood and is a wall up front on the volleyball court. I found it refreshing when Monty told me at the beginning of the session that she wanted me to "make her look tall."

Oh honey... you done gone took care of THAT already! :)

Once again we were all over the place on this day... making every effort to keep Danielle's images from looking anything like all of her friends that had been our way. It is with great happiness and pride that I can honestly tell you that despite the relative small size of BCLUW's senior class and the large numbers that have chosen Stewart Photography for their senior images, ALL of those books can be stacked side by side for comparison, and I am confident that each has its own distinct look.

All of our seniors here are important to me, and I cannot help but become a "fan" of a particular group of kids when they support us with such overwhelming regularity. There are so many teammates, best friends, relatives, and even siblings of former senior clients... I'd be lying if I told you I didn't feel a lot of love towards the communities that make up BCLUW. <3

To say that I've been "plugged in" to what's going on in Cometville, would be an understatement. I think that's clear... so when Monty clued me in on an inside joke during her session, I'm not gonna lie... I was kinda disappointed in myself that I was unaware of it.

It seems as though it's become in vogue for the ladies that wear the black-n-gold to make a facial expression that they like to call the "rat face."

Curl your top lip behind your teeth... jut them out... and you get the picture... it's rodent-esque. Unflattering to be sure... but dang... do it and look in a mirror...TOTAL hilariousness. Evidently the "trend" has gotten out of hand in Conrad to the point that The Conrad Record made some sort of tongue-in-cheek reference to "rats invading BCLUW" this fall when reporting on a volleyball game and the girl's antics.

So... if this is indeed the end-of-the line for our extremely humbling wave of support from BCLUW... I felt that there was only one thing left to do.... and the proof can be found at the bottom of this blog.... Monty and I in a rat face tip of the cap to all my Comet peeps. (sorry to ugly-up your blog and proof book, Monty... you're the best!) :)
