Bringin' the catherWOOD...

The GMG train that has a direct line from Garwin to Montour continued rollin' on Thursday afternoon as we are approaching nearly 20 seniors from a class that has no more than 45 members.

The latest was Jake Catherwood...

His best friend Brody Fisher had been in just a couple of weeks back and while Jake had been to our studio several years ago as part of a HUGE extended family group of around FIFTY people, this was HIS day... and after seeing Brody's images... he knew what had to be done.

It's amazing to me the amount of passion that football generates in these guys. Not that I'm surprised... I was there once... but to be honest... these guys haven't had the season that they had hoped for as they have yet to taste victory this fall... yet it's still important enough to them to want to make it a focal point of their one-time-only senior session.

So... we were off to Garwin again at the end of the session... Jake makes his home just a stone's throw from the field in Garwin so I can see where there's more sentimental value to the images we created there on the field where so much sacrifice is made. With the help of the ever positive Mama Roxanne, and with the Wolverines going thru their Thursday special teams walk through in preparation for the next night's contest with Colo-NESCO, we busted out several killer images for number 56.

Speaking of Number 56... Jake also had an always cool NFL authentic #56 Minnesota Vikings jersey that we worked in as part of the studio session, in addition to his shockingly sweet Fox gear complete with his flat-bill cap... worn backwards of course.

All-in-all... it was another great session.... more football talk... the life lessons it teaches us... more great discussion from a fun personality and a awesome mom that couldn't be more positive and easy to talk to (I think she said "absolutely" to everything i asked or suggested for 4 hours straight... who doesn't like that?). Bottom line... no one has supported Stewart Photography more this summer and fall than GMG High School. I've got at least one more coming on Tuesday... and who knows... maybe more will surprise us. But even if we're at the end of the line... It's been real. It's been amazing... and I couldn't be more grateful.
