Natasha had a plan...
In addition to working in her car, her prize heifer, her pink boots, her long time boyfriend, she HAD to have a waterfall.
I told her fine... but if she could help me help her... she'd need to be even EARLIER than her 8 a.m. start time so we could get that extra running around in.
No problem said the little farm gal and her totally hilarious mother, Lindsay. We'll be there... MAYBE even an hour earlier.
I thought to myself... I'll believe it when i see it.
Experience tells me that making the 8 a.m. slot with bells on and ready to be photographed looking their absolute VERY best is tough enough.
So Thursday morning... the front door pops open promptly at 7 a.m.... and the amazing Kajer ladies were ready to ROLL!
I was so impressed... it was NOTHING for me to bend over backwards... shed my shoes and socks... and get right in on those sharp rocks under the water at Union Grove and absolutely nail that waterfall shot for Tash. The little blondie was fearless as she stepped right out there close to the fall... and let me tell you folks... I weigh in excess of.... um... let's say 200 lbs, conservatively.... and the water was rushing thru there SO fast that morning that it wasn't easy to keep upright... so for little 100-pound nothin' Natasha... it was just determination at it's finest. I also know that Mama Lindsay was secretly off to the side hoping that one of us might just happen to fall in.
Special thanks to Papa Craig and Boyfriend Wyatt for bringing over the car and handling that heifer while we ran around having all the fun. We couldn't have done it without ya.
Lastly, I would like to thanks the girls for making me feel really funny by laughing at all my jokes... In the middle of a 130 hour week... laughter is great medicine. ;-)
